Memorial observance

Memorial of Christ's Death

When: Annually, on Nisan 14 (according to the Jewish calendar)

This is the most important event of the year for Jehovah's Witnesses. We commemorate Jesus Christ's death as he commanded, observing this special evening with a Bible talk and the passing of unleavened bread and wine.

All are warmly invited to attend this special memorial.

Regional convention

Regional Convention

When: Annually, during summer months

A three-day convention featuring Bible-based talks, interviews, videos, and demonstrations. Thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses from across the region gather for this spiritually enriching event.

Held at a regional convention facility in British Columbia.

Circuit Assemblies

Gatherings with nearby congregations throughout the year

Circuit assembly

One & Two-Day Assemblies

Frequency: 2-3 times per year

Our congregation joins with nearby congregations in our circuit for special one or two-day assemblies. These events feature:

  • Upbuilding Bible talks and symposiums
  • Baptism of new Jehovah's Witnesses
  • Demonstrations and interviews
  • Special music presentations
  • Fellowship with brothers and sisters from other congregations

Community efforts to maintain and improve our place of worship

Kingdom Hall maintenance

Regular Maintenance

Congregation members volunteer their time and skills to keep our Kingdom Hall clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Regular cleaning, landscaping, and minor repairs are performed by volunteers.

Improvement project

Improvement Projects

Larger improvement projects unite our congregation in meaningful work. These projects may include renovations, upgrades, and facility enhancements to better serve our worship needs.

Regional Cooperation

For major building projects, volunteers from nearby congregations join us, demonstrating the unity and cooperation among Jehovah's Witnesses. These events showcase teamwork and skilled volunteers working together.

Public Witnessing & Outreach

Sharing Bible truth with our community

Public Ministry

Our congregation actively participates in the public ministry, sharing Bible-based hope and encouragement with people in 100 Mile House and surrounding areas.

Door-to-Door Ministry

Following Jesus' example, we visit people in their homes to share Bible truths and offer free Bible study programs.

Public Witnessing

We set up literature displays in public areas where people can pick up free Bible-based publications and ask questions.

Informal Witnessing

Congregation members share their faith naturally in everyday conversations with neighbors, colleagues, and friends.

Memorial Invitation Campaign

Leading up to the Memorial of Christ's Death, we conduct a special campaign to personally invite everyone in our community to attend this important annual event.
